AFGE Family,

We’ve made it to the heart of summer, and just like the season, we’re in the heart of our own time of growth. We’re seeing victories, we’re adding to our ranks, and we’re setting the stage for more to come.

This past May, we welcomed 1,747 new members to the AFGE family, marking our eighth month of consistent growth and our best overall organizing month in 8 years.

That’s no small achievement. Each one of you – our dedicated AFGE members, activists, and leaders – has made this possible. You’re proving every day that when we pull together, we’re an unstoppable force.

But let me remind you that growth isn’t a destination – it’s a journey. We’ve seen some success, but the road doesn’t end here. We must keep pushing, keep fighting, keep organizing, and keep rising together. The stronger we grow, the louder our voice becomes, and the harder it is for those who would ignore us to do so.
